WELCOME
The Jinen-kō Sangha gathers regularly online to chant the Shōshinge and Wasan, and to discuss the meaning of the six wasan chanted on each occasion. We cover the cycle of 330 wasan throughout the year. Days and times change every week to accommodate the different timezones of our Sangha members, who are all over the world. The services are led by Rev. Enrique Galvan-Alvarez, who was ordained in the Jōdo Shinshū Hongwanji-ha school of Buddhism in 2019.
The meetings usually last from 90 mins to 2 h and in them we do not only chant the texts in the original language but their content is also translated into Spanish, explained and discussed. There are other activities such as Reading Clubs, Dharma Talks by invited speakers (Translation into Spanish or Portuguese provided) and Introductions to Ritual.
